HUGE Boa Constrictor living in someones backyard!

Never a dull moment down here in South Florida. We started out a normal day off out fishing with Tobie man, when we received a snake call about a HUGE PYTHON, in someones backyard. So we drop what we are doing and head over to find a massive Boa constrictor! The biggest boa constrictor either one of us has ever seen. It was released down here in South Florida and luckily we caught it and are giving it a forever home. Boas are snakes just like pythons but are completely different. Boa Constrictors are from Central and South America, where the Invasive Burmese Pythons found in Florida are from Asia. Boas are not an established invasive species here in South Florida (aside from a small isolated populations trapped in suburban Miami). We wish we could know how this animal ended up where it did, but that will likely remain a mystery. However it will be staying with us at our facility as another rescue.
